Unusual Heat pair in Santa Anita grass feature

by Jarrod Horak on April 16th, 2008

Unusual Heat is one of my favorite turf sires, and he has two runners in Thursday’s seventh at Santa Anita, a state bred entry level event for three-year-old fillies traveling six and one-half furlongs down the hill.

Unusually Hot tries grass for the first time and sports a Hollywood bullet for her return. Her sibling My Maloof Rocker has won two straight on the sod in Northern California, and Adam Kitchingman is a dangerous thirty-two percent with shippers.

Brian’s Mark looms the one to catch, and To B. Devon is the likely favorite following a troubled place finish versus similar course/distance foes.
