Problem feet continue to hinder Big Brown

by Jarrod Horak on May 25th, 2008

In the past Big Brown has suffered from quarter cracks in both of his front feet, which explains why he only started three times prior to the Triple Crown series.

Everything seemed fine following his effortless Kentucky Derby triumph, but he ran down from behind in the Preakness, and now he has developed another quarter crack in his left front foot.

He will likely miss several days of training due to his newfound quarter crack, and what this means in regards to his Triple Crown chances remains to be seen.
