Thursday (12-04-08) Fair Grounds recap
Showers were in the area with a fast main track and good turf course, and both surfaces seemed to played fair.
The usual suspects were saddling winners (Tom Amoss, Steve Asmussen, Cody Autrey, and Bret Calhoun).
K Otee (Perrodin/Mouton) rallied from off the pace to win the state bred allowance sprint feature. My 9-1 top High Toned was a pace factor before throwing in the towel turning for home.
Friday (12-05-08) Fair Grounds preview
Friday’s 10-race card features four turf races and includes a Pick 6 carryover of $6,155.
Weather: Mostly sunny. High 57.
Race 5: Pick 6 starts here with aforementioned carryover of $6,155. James Graham/Tom Amoss have the one to beat with 3-1 fav Ferentz.
